Piano Technicians Guild
Oklahoma Chapter Minutes

February 21, 2002

Meeting started at 8:45AM and was held at Edmond Music in the shop building behind the main store.

Norman Cantrell gave the invocation.

Minutes were read and accepted. The information came from the chapter newsletter.

Under old business:
Norman gave a brief update on the 2003 TSA Seminar and securement of a host hotel, most likely Hilton NW in Oklahoma City. He also mentioned the possibility of a one day seminar in the future with André Bolduc. The one recently held with Del Fandrich was considered very successful

New business:
It was announced Valerie Crawford will not be doing the Chapter newsletter editor starting July 2002. She will be going to OSU full time.

The technical, _Just A Boring Hammer Class!_, was presented by Norman Cantrell. The handout was very complimentary to the complete technical. Norman seemed an old hand at doing hammer boring.

The various measurements, tools, and procedures were well covered, and everyone who attended is now fully equipped with the understanding and know how to bore their own hammers.

Mike & Wanda Gilliam and Kerry McCoy, Kawai representative, dropped by for a brief visit during the technical.

By the end of the meeting seven persons had been in attendance:
Ben Davis, Norman Cantrell, Keith McGavern, Bob Scheer, Don Bonds, Don Willis, James White, Ed Hamby.

Meeting adjourned.

Respectfully submitted,
Keith McGavern, RPT
Oklahoma Chapter Secretary
