Piano Technicians Guild
Oklahoma Chapter Minutes
October 17, 2002

The meeting was held at Edmond Music Company in Oklahoma City and was called to order by Bob Scheer at 8:52AM.

Invocation given by Norman Cantrell.

Minutes were read, corrected and accepted.

No treasurer’s report.

Keith withdrew his motion to send $100 to Ernie Juhn. Don Bonds made a new motion to do such a thing, Ben seconded. Discussion took place. Motion tabled until more information is gathered.

Bob read a letter sent by the PTG Home to Amos Hedrick’s family. A card was signed by those in attendance to send to his family, and those in attendance agreed to have a check drawn from the chapter a check of $100 to go with it.

Norman reported on TSA. Oklahoma is officially March 2004. Norman passed the torch of Seminar Director to Bob Scheer. Reason: Norman was elected to be President of TSA, and the Bylaws stipulate one person cannot hold both positions.

The technical presentation _Your Guess Is As Good As Mine_ for this meeting was given by Keith McGavern. A miscellany of items were covered on some basic scenarios that happened to Keith in the field Monday & Wednesday. Corrective measures were shared where applicable. A used Kawai and new Steinway grand were used for demonstration purposes.

By the end of the meeting six persons had been in attendance:
Bob Scheer, Ben Davis, Keith McGavern, Norman Cantrell, Don Bonds, Craig Lynch.

Meeting adjourned.

Respectfully submitted,
Keith McGavern, RPT
Oklahoma Chapter Secretary
