Piano Technicians Guild
Oklahoma Chapter Minutes

February 20, 2003

The meeting opened at 8:50AM and was held at Albert Evans Piano Store.

David Bonham gave the invocation.

Minutes were read and accepted.

Keith McGavern made a motion to have Norman be Council delegate. Seconded by Don Bonds. Motion passed. Ben Davis volunteered to be Alternate Delegate.

No update on the TSA Seminar in Oklahoma. A reminder was given of an Associates Seminar to be held in Austin, TX.

Update on Bob Scheer: Still recovering, but not up to snuff yet.

Albert Evans has once again demonstrated his legacy to the piano business. His technical presentation on Hanging Hammers in an upright showed he has been down this road more than once. What was especially nice was the fact there is more then one way to actually do the job, using end hammers as reference, doing every other one or replacing one by one down the line. It was self evident that everyone learned something new, and remembered many things old. Thank you, Albert.

There were thirteen persons in attendance:
Albert Evans, David & Barbara Bonham, Ben Davis, Norman Cantrell, Don Bond, Keith McGavern, Robert Overhulser, Greg Lynch, Ed Hamby, Rhonda Ringer, Steve Evans, Wes McGee.

Respectfully submitted,
Keith McGavern, RPT
Oklahoma Chapter Secretary
