Oklahoma Chapter Minutes
June 19, 2003
The meeting opened at 8:42AM and was held at the Oklahoma Christian University.
Gary Bruce gave the invocation.
Minutes were read and accepted.
Treasurer’s report: $3,060.93
TSA report: There will be a board meeting in Dallas. The dates for this event is March 11-14, 2004. The name of the convention is undecided. A possible all day vertical regulation class on Thursday, March 11th, was discussed. Having used pianos brought in for an evaluation type class was mentioned.
It was requested by Greg Lynch to have another evaluating piano type technical like was held at the Bonhams’.
A motion was made by Keith McGavern, seconded by Don Bonds to pay the delegate $325.00 for the Dallas Convention. Motion was approved.
The technical consisted of selling Amos Hedrick’s tools. Gary suggested to those in attendance some basic guidelines of how the sale might be conducted. Others in the group offered some further ideas on how these tools might be liquidated.
Here is a summary of the tool sale from Gary’s email dated 6/19/3:
“... results of the tool sale at our meeting today. ... a total of $898.50 ... I will deposit the $$ ... and ... cut Gaylene a check for that amount with a cover letter.
I will send the two SAT to Inventronics for ... service ... Options include a consignment arrangement with Inventroncics, ebay, setting a price for our purchase, etc.
If you want a copy of your itemized list I will keep them and bring them to our next meeting.
Thanks to all who attended and purchased. Some good buys, some generous offers.”
As a final look at the day’s activity from your secretary, I can’t imagine a better handling of the particulars, or a more splendid display of fellowship and cooperation by those present at this chapter meeting.
