Some discussion was held with regards to the proposals submitted for council session in Nashville.

Gary Bruce has been authorized to purchase the three note Vertical Action Model from the PTG home office, the single note Grand action from Renner and the Stringing Jig from the Pennsylvania Chapter for testing purposes in our chapter.

Norman announced he will be discontinuing his OKC telephone # at the end of June. The number to call now is 580-355-5003.

Picnic gathering at the Bonhams’ July 24th, 4-8PM. The meeting in August will be on the 19th at Edmond Music, 8:30am. Norman Cantrell will be presenting the technical. September meeting will be on the 16th at 8:30am.

For the technical Gary Bruce demonstrated AcryliKey II by Wagner Technical - http://www.wagner-technical.com/. What was unique about this presentation was that only one person in the group had experienced this process, and it wasn’t Gary.

But that didn’t stop those in attendance, however, as Gary had prepared six test ivories mounted on 2x4 blocks of wood. He then began to read the directions verbatim as a few willing subjects did their best to repair the sample chipped ivories.

It turned out to be a fun process, and everyone now feels that they could repair chipped ivories in a pinch, thanks to the AcryliKey II, and the hands on class.

There were 10 persons in attendance:
Bob Scheer, Gary Bruce, Keith McGavern, Norman Cantrell, David, & Barbara Bonham, Ben Davis, Dave Scroggins, Shem Taggart, Nathan Sobel.

Respectfully submitted,
Keith McGavern, RPT
