President Bob Scheer gave an excellent message about growing in chapter membership and its importance to the piano communities we serve.

Robert Moore of Ponca City was accepted into the Chapter rolls as the newest Associate member. Sponsor - Keith McGavern. Congratulations and Welcome aboard, Robert!

A motion was made by Norman Cantrell and seconded by David Bonham to set attendance limits at chapter meetings for non-members. Discussion was held. Motion tabled for more input.

The highlight of the meeting was the viewing of the Hans Hollein special edition 7’4” Bosendorfer. Pictures are available at the chapter website. The piano weighs approximately 1700 lbs. The legs and lyre are made of brass. One leg is about 130 lbs. It has a powered top lid which eliminates the normal prop stick seen on grands. There is a stubby prop stick only.

Also discussed were the means and method with which David & Barbara moved this piano from Houston to OKC. All in all an excellent meeeting.

Thirteen (13) persons were in attendance: Bob Scheer, Norman Cantrell, Dave Scroggins, David & Barbara Bonham, Shem Taggrt, Keith McGavern, Steve Davis, Greg Lynch, Robert Moore, Blane Morris, Ken & Elizabeth Wilkinson and Max the dog.
